About Me
Hi, I’m Georgi Gilpin and I’m an artist & maker.
Rarely a pattern, rarely a recipe, just a joy and passion for creating.
I live in Devon near the River Dart which I swim in almost every day rain, shine and frosts! My partner & I have a cocker spaniel dog which ensures we are outside several times a day gifting me the opportunity to forage through the seasons and landscapes we explore. I love Devon and feel very lucky to have grown up here and come back to settle here as an adult.
The key element for me is that I love making the things that I do and creating the events I am involved in. I studied a BA Hons Degree in 3D Design at Brighton University and specialised in ceramics and metal.
My creativity is focused around ceramics, food and drinks all of which are available to purchase here on line or directly from me at my studio in Totnes. I sell the small batches of things that I make. I am also a beekeeper and harvest some honey and beeswax from them and use that in some of the products and food that I make.
