Handmade ceramic jug
Lovely chubby little jug perfect for milk, cream, sauces hot or cold, dressings, fresh flowers and the like.
I love these… there is something cheerful about a jug! I love it when there are a few on the shelf or on the table, they seem to chat to one another like birds.
It’s a rounded stoneware glazed jug around 8oz The size is so useful and doesn’t crowd the table. They are glazed in a variety of colours - you choose.
Dartmoor greens, buttercup, buttercup blush, Devon cream, shoreline.
I am inspired by the Devon countryside. Colours at the coast with shades of sky falling into the sea and the water pushing against the coastline or up on Dartmoor with sweeps of greens changed by scudding clouds. All the seasons wild flowers, big and small.
Each item is handmade and therefore slightly different, the glazes can be different, the shape may not be ‘perfect’. They are not made by machine they are made by my hands with care and attention and joy.
