Devon Dining Set - Flared Bowls

£18.50

Beautiful black clay is fired to stoneware for this unique tableware. This clay evokes the deep rich earth colour of peat up on Dartmoor for me.

You can mix and match your sets or just buy ‘that one’ for a complimentary array of colours to adorn your dining table.

I love Devon and hope you see that reflected in the colours I have chosen for this set.

Each plate and dish is unique, cut in a freestyle shape and made carefully by hand. They stack into one another. The set is dishwasher safe.

Colours available:

Lichen - a variety of tones make up this colour from a soft caramel to a slightly metallic green. Its visually beautifully textured.

Gorse - so hard to photograph the soft richness of this yellow colour and how to describe it! Its comfortable to the eye, rich in its yellow colour and a satin finish to the glaze. It has a warmth to it.

Peat - this glaze is satin to the touch but soft brown hues with dashes of shiny brown and green, food looks lovely in/on this.

Oyster - pearly whites and greys speckled with ochres that run slightly into the smoothness of the inside of an oyster shell

River Dart - sandy bottoms and mossy rocks awash with crystal clear blue green water. Pools of the sky in the water. Its all of those colours!

Ferns - one of the oldest plants on the planet and little changed from how they first developed. Dartmoor is abundant with them. Their great fans of gorgeous green framing paths and woodlands. I make these to show off the structure of the fern in a fresh green against the dark natural clay.

Mottled green - this glaze is velvety dark satin green speckled with lighter green and some lovely ochres at the edges.

You just have to choose now!
