Devon Dining Set

£49.50

Beautiful black clay is fired to stoneware for this unique dining set. This clay evokes the deep rich earth colour of peat up on Dartmoor for me.

You can mix and match your sets for a complimentary array of colours or stick to one to adorn your dining table.

I love Devon and being up on Dartmoor or out on the coast bathed in its many coats of colours throughout the seasons. I hope you see that reflected in the colours I have chosen for this set.

Each set consists of:

1 x Dinner plate (approx 25cm)
1 x Side plate (approx 18cm)
1 X Flared bowl (approx 18cm)

Each plate and dish is unique, cut in a freestyle shape and made carefully by hand. Each can stack into the other. The set is dishwasher safe though I would recommend hand washing and ensuring each plate is dry before stacking and putting away.

Simply add the number of sets you would like - you will be shown options to choose the colour for each plate/bowl size before they are added to your cart.

Or, opt for a mix of colours across all plate/bowl sizes.

Colours available:

Lichen - a variety of tones make up this colour from a soft caramel to a slightly metallic green. Its visually beautifully textured.

Gorse - so hard to photograph the soft richness of this yellow colour and how to describe it! Its comfortable to the eye, rich in its yellow colour and a satin finish to the glaze. It has a warmth to it.

Peat - this colour has many soft hued browns, tans, little pockets of shiny green and brown. Just beautiful and food looks lovely in/on it.

Oyster - pearly white grey inside an oyster shell, smooth and speckled

River Dart - sandy bottoms and mossy rocks awash with crystal clear blue green water. Pools of the sky in the water. Its all of those colours!

Ferns - one of the oldest plants on the planet and little changed from how they first developed. Dartmoor is abundant with them. Their great fans of gorgeous green framing paths and woodlands. I make these to show off the structure of the fern in a fresh green against the dark natural clay.

Take a look at the video below for colour combinations and variations to be expected when ordering.

I like to mix and match the colours for each set. They work together so well in so many combinations.
