A softly rounded white porcelain glazed ceramic beaker, a vessel without a handle. The shape is made to cup softly in your hand. Glazed in a variety of colours - you choose.
I am inspired by the Devon countryside. Colours at the coast with shades of sky falling into the sea and the water pushing against the coastline or up on Dartmoor with sweeps of greens changed by scudding clouds. I love the line where the sky meets the land, the change of colour and the profile of the land, I often bring this into my ceramics either in the glaze or the edges of a piece.
Each one is handmade and therefore slightly different, the glazes are similar but always different, the shape may not be perfect. They are not made by machine they are made by my hands with care and attention and joy.
